I know this technically isn't a garden visit but I thought it would be good to tell people with young kids and buggies about this place.
This is in Carlow out near the GAA ground. Their is nothing to fancy but it is clean and has notice boards with the trees information and a few different length walks with average walking times indicated.
There are plenty of picnic tables and bins. The toilet facilities were really clean.
And finally all the walk-ways are either tar or when going through the forest the walk ways are all boarded on the ground, so it is easy to push buggies or wheel chairs.
Well that's it sorry i had no camera with me but you get the gist anyway. |
