Hi Everybody--
I'm a US transplant and have been living in Ireland for 5 years now (with no view to heading back to the states--I like it here!). I'm 33, married with no children (yet) but I do have a very nice Labrador called Raven who takes more minding than any child sometimes.
I'm completely new to gardening but I'm interested in making something out of my back garden--right now it's just a blank slate with a bit of grass. I'm also thinking that time spent outdoors "pottering" about the garden would be a good way to de-stress after hectic work days.
I think a Japanese - influenced design is what I'm planning on, provided I can find all the elements within Ireland.
Anyway, that's my story--I'm looking forward to learning a few things from all of you.
Regards,
chris |
