You need to go to a place that sells tools to farmers.

| Yes I agree with Belfast. Farming coop would be a good start. Lakeland or town and county or is it town and country |

They might know somewhere that stocks them or even source one to fit...failing that it's time to start whittling....

Interesting link to Chillington there Sarah.
There's a bloke here in Inishowen that will order and supply chillington stuff, sourced from the UK I think. Are they the same tools and franchised out to Irish shops?

Unsure Inishindie, other half does the buying. Believe he worked for Chillington before moving over. _________________ The Secret Garden Centre

He has picked some fantastic tools...They are the sort of things you will see in car boot sales in 100 years time as they outlive their owners......I think that's a compliment.......Maybe without handles....... _________________ www.gardening.ie |

Funny you should say that met a customer up in Cork today who was delighted to be buying two new items to replace the one he has had for the last 20 years. Still the original handle but the blade was down to half the original size. _________________ The Secret Garden Centre
