HI all i have just sowed a big area with grass.Issue is all around the border of this lawn there is a 2 to 3 metre band of uneven ground that i would like to cover.Outside this band is a beech hedge on one side ,a natural hedge on another /potatoes on the third and more lawn on the fourth .I see a common hedge surrounding housing estates which for all the world looks like a red laurel bush .It doesnt seem to grow too high and seems to sread fairly wide.it has red leaves.Has anyone any ideas what that maybe or any other shrubs that i could plant to spread about 3 metres wide thanks jimmy mac.It is a good size area and i would like some colour please/something that would contrast to the green beech
