Hey Folks,

I'm looking for advice if anyone has any idea's, I'm looking for suitable plants for a house that is quite close to a road and is very open at the front.
The main issue is privacy and I was thinking of a light row of trees/shrubs maybe hazel.
I don't want full enclosure or something too dominating just some extra privacy.

Things to take in to consideration would be,
The plants would be 7-9m from the house.
There are water and sewage pipes within a few meters but they are pvc and are all in good condition.
Not looking for something that's going to get too big or tall.
And preferably native and good for the local animals.
Also the area has a tendency to be a little wet sometimes.

I don't ask for much do I? Laughing

I'd be grateful for any help.

Thank you I had a look through it but it doesn't say anything about hazel, just to add to my original questions, I'd also like to know if hazel bushes in winter would give reasonably good privacy.
I had kinda thought a light mixed row of hazel and hawthorn might suit the area but I still need my original questions answered if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks again.
