garlic spray - to keep the Roses green fly free

nettle brew - I actually went into my sisters overgrown garden with a pair of heavy duty gloves and pulled them up, and only got stung once, the mixture is brewing now for the last 2 weeks. When can I use it on the veg growing in the garden.

Is there any vegetables that I shouldn't use it on?

Or is it ok to feed everything with it?

I just love this site Very Happy

Usually I would use chemicals in the garden but this year because im growing veg I didn't want to have any chemicals if it could be avoided at all. Im amazed! Very Happy

Nettle brew is a good balanced feed so you should be able to use it on all your veg. Just don't use it for the last week or two before harvest on root veg, or for above ground veg don't get on the edible bits just before harvest. Won't do any harm, but not great for the taste.

If you get more into the organic feeds (can save a lot of cash or chemicals) comfrey is good for potassium so good for onions, tomatoes, etc.
borage is goof for nitrogen so good for the hungry ones.

Where would I get Comfrey? Is it a weed or would it be available in gardening stores?

Thanks for the tips:)

You should be able to get it from almost any seed supplier or garden store.

Or you could get them from these guys: http://www.irishseedsavers.ie/article.php?artid=61

Best of luck!
