Hi all,

I am a complete beginner to gardening and sowed a LOT of seeds in February in my hotpress. Unfortunately I didnt label any so now I am looking at all these thriving plants and do not know where to plant them. I sowed a mix of veg and flowers. I attach pictures of some of them and would be really grateful and if anyone could identify some of them for me. Many thanks.

Hi Lilylarkin,
The top pic just might be tarragon, you could try tasting a little bit off one of the leaves to check. I'd say the other two are almost certainly flowers.

Do you have any of the seed packets from feb that you planted, it may help narrow them down.

Do the leaves on the bottom picture feel almost like a suculent?

This looks like Mesembryanthemum to me.

I agree with barremic on the seed packets and narrowing them down.
Although if the replies keep flooding in you may have no need for doing it. Very Happy

Hi Bobby,

Ive just been through my packets of seeds and the only herbs I planted were basil and parsley. The parsley i can recognise. The other veg I planted were cucumbers, peppers, spinach, beans and tomatoes. I recognise the beans and tomatoes.

Great thanks. Thats great and it is blooming and I planted it out last night in the hope that it was a flower and not a veg. I fully expect to find cucumbers and peppers growing in my flowerbeds!

Thank you for the response.

Hi Liliylarkin,
Your pictures are definitely NOT cucumbers or peppers.
