Can I just take the time to say that this website has become my gardening bible. I started off two years ago when I first moved to the sticks, I was starting small so started to grow some herbs, I got some great tips from this website and now two years on have a thriving herb garden. Last year I tried my hand at gardening with some success and this year it's my passion. As soon as the small ones are in bed I'm out there in gale force winds. My biggest achievement so far has been digging and planting a 30 foot asparagus trench. My husband reckoned it was the most romantic gift he ever got! As I was a novice I always looked to this website for advice before planting anything. I've made loads of mistakes but sure that's half the fun.

I've also formed a small gardening club with three friends where we all go to someone's house for a hour every week. It's amazing how much work gets done by four people in a hour. It's been a great way to swap seeds, plants and advice and we've very much enjoying it and sure the tea and cake eating is nice afterwards as well.

So keep up the great work.

Well done! Pity everyone doesn't take a leaf out of your book - it'd be a better country! Smile

Like you ive also gained some great tips from this site, I check in almost daily and from time to time a post will appear and I can relate to it, I find the site great, keep up the good work. I love the idea of a meet up once a week with the friends/neighbours to get things done. Many hands make light of work.
