Is this a Lacewing?

I've been spraying my tomatoes with a soapy solution against greenfly but noticed today a load of tiny fly-like creatures. They're no bigger than the aphids. Are these lacewings? I thought a predator would be bigger than the prey somehow Confused

No, it's a winged aphid.

A lacewing is much bigger. Remember that any spray you use which kills the aphid will also kill the lacewing! Of course, you could spray with water, which will dislodge the aphids and won't harm anything beneficial! Smile
