HI Folks ,this little birdie got trapped in the shed last week.Can anyone identify it .I think its a barn swallow.We released it after taking pics.It had long tail feathers.

It's a swallow. We don't call them barn swallows here in Ireland - just "swallows". Smile

Strangely enough, i'd never heard the term Barn Swallow until i came to live in this part of the World, must be a local name.

I think it's an American name - used because they have different kinds of swallows there (I think - I might be wrong).
