I finally got around to putting up some pictures of our before and after of the front garden.
We did the front on a tight budget, recycling some old sleepers we found in the garden, and donated gravel.
The entire front garden was just bluebells and dandelions when we got the house last year.
The bottom one is the most recent picture!

My old eyes can't make out too much detail, but it certainly looks like a relaxing transformation. a garden to be proud of.
By the way, what did you do with the bluebells? I'm desperately looking for tons of them for my woodland garden
Bill.

sorry about the size first photos i have ever posted on site.
We tried to dig as many as we could last year, but the little beggars are planted about 8 inched down in the soil (previous owner put soil from drive way on top of that bed) so over the last few weeks i had great fun pulling stalks from the middle of my nice weed free gravel, and they have left lovely little holes for the dandies to get in, im hoping they may weaken next year!

Very nice. Those Bluebells don't look out of place there, but if you want to dig them up, feel free to send me a kilo or two. I'm building a Faerie garden for my duaghters and they would love them, I'll swap you an orchid or something for a load. Same goes for anyone else who's thinking of dumping bluebells or snowdrops
Bill.

Thanks a mil
Yeah it looks even better now after being down a year. We didnt expect quite so many bluebells to make it up through the gravel, but still nice.
Now on to the back garden, not so simple!
