Can anyone tell me: if I take a cutting from a climbing rose, will the resulting rose be a climber, or is the climbing habit derived from the rootstock? |

I found out for myself. You have to take the cutting from a leading shoot; if you take one from a side shoot, I believe it may revert to a bush habit. |
