Hi Folks,
Yet another newbie trying to pick all your brains.
Relatively new to gardening, but spent the last couple of years growing stuff from cuttings and seeds, would like to understand it all a bit more.
There is no art in sticking bits of plants in the ground or seeds in a pot !!!
We have an acre and a half site that is approx 1.5 miles from the sea, wind can be a problem.
The garden is about 5 years old now, but upto last year only boundary hedging was the main focus.
I'll try to add a few pics for all to see.
Cheers

Welcome to the club Bishbosh. With an acre and a half, you might be classified as a farmer rather than a gardener. I have about 100 sq metres in all. But I can claim to have 26 'trees' in all on-site. Stick with this site and you'll either teach us all how to do it or vice-versa or both. You were absolutely right to get boundary fencing in as a priority if the wind is not your friend. Tá gaoith an geimhreadh scálta fúar around Youghal, I know it well. _________________ Retired trouble-maker. twitters @walltoall and dreams of being promoted to Pedunculate Oaker. |
