Green Party Councillor Ruairí Holohan has organised the following course.

‘Grow Your Own Vegetables’

Four-Part Course in Urban Organic Vegetable Cultivation and Composting

Tuesdays at 7pm from 21st of April 2009

At the ‘Urban Junction’ Hall, Blackrock

(former Methodist Church, off Main St, beside old town hall and library)

Four two-hour classes in low-labour, organic, eco-friendly gardening aimed at achieving high-yielding, attractive vegetable plots in small and large gardens, patios and apartment balconies.

The course content is equally suited to first-time growers, time-constrained gardeners, people with low mobility, and allotment enthusiasts.
