Hi all!
I'm trying a raised bed this year and was hoping to find an organic way to keep the slugs away as they were a big problem last year, nearly wiped out my whole garden!
Had read that placing seaweed along the perimetre of the garden will deter them...has anyone heard of this or have any experience with it?
I'm rightnow trying eggshells around the plants that have come up, but it's very painstaking and I worry about disturbing the balance of the soil ...
TIA!

slugs dont like sharp gravil or stones,if you spread some gravil around your plants, slugs will stay clear.the salt in seaweed should do the job for a while, also the sun will warm up your gravil or stones during the day and will let heat out at night helping you plants grow faster,
