Why advertise here?
You are currently viewing the Irish gardeners forum, Ireland's busiest website in the gardening niche.
I believe there is no Irish site that can currently match our traffic for this area.

Most up to date stats here..... Click.. Stats March/April 2015.

What is the Irish gardening forum about?
Our site aims to offer free access to a wealth of horticultural information specific to Ireland, by providing help from fellow gardeners and the opportunity to discuss all the best gardening techniques, both new and old.
It's essentially "gardeners helping gardeners", while under the watchful eye of moderators and the site administrator, James Kilkelly, himself a trained horticulturalist.
The site has been active and helping gardeners since 2006.

Our visitors, as well as reading the content, go on to interact with the site and its members through posting to the forum their comments, questions, and answers.
The readers are far from passive, in fact they are influential on the site and because of this are more likely to visit websites and products highlighted on the forums.

When you take up one of our site sponsorship options you will be creating a bridge between your business area and Irish gardening enthusiasts ranging from beginners to experienced growers.
Rather than placing your advertisement in an area where a percentage of the viewers may have no interest in what you offer, this niche placement offers you the opportunity to reach your customer base directly as they have already expressed an interest in your business area.

Ok, so the Irish gardeners forum is targeted to the gardening and horticulture niche, but just what sort of traffic does the site receive? Well let me shed some light on this with a stats graphic...

How do we do it?.

Why is the Irish gardeners forum generating such strong traffic? Well one reason is our returning visitors.
From the stats graphic above you can see 11,700 returning visitors, many of these comprising of our over 1,800 registered members, these gardening fanatics regularly check back for news and updated postings.

The other reason we receive strong traffic is the sites ranking in the search engines for garden related keywords.
This is because of the unique content constantly being uploaded to the site, unique content our gardeners want to read.
Here is an example of our strong positioning on the current search engine leader Google.....

Gardening Ireland: Top ten result. Grass care: Top ten result.

Garden planning: Top ten result. Lawn care: Top ten result.

Glass houses: Top ten result. Vegetable growing: Top ten result.

Landscape gardener Ireland: Top ten result. Lawns: Top ten result.

The popularity of the Irish gardening forum is expected to go from strength to strength this year due to the launch of our sister site, Ireland's online resource for allotments, vegetable and fruit growing. A feed of all the latest gardening forum topics is supplied to this allotments site, funneling a constant stream of visitors through to the Irish gardening forum.

For your information:
Studies have noted that most people searching for a particular reference via search engines will usually stop looking after page one of the results.
When people search the web for information on products that you sell and they end up on the Irish gardening forum, then we can pass that traffic on to you via your sponsorship placement.

In summary.
(1) You are currently viewing Ireland's busiest website in the gardening niche, there is no Irish site that can currently match our traffic for this area.
(2) Strong search engine rankings
(3) Recent traffic snapshot of 62,000 unique individual visitors over 30 days, viewing 89,000 pages.

Your main promotional opportunity.
Capitalise on this popularity with our current sponsorship opportunity, a 127 x 127 button ad placement atop each and every forum thread page, all 2024 of them. You can see an example of these at the top of this very page or in the graphic below....

These advertising placements are available for a fraction of the cost of similar sites or newspapers/trade magazines.
And better still our ads can be clicked on unlike those in newspapers/trade magazines. This will transport possible customers directly to your website.

Further opportunities.
We are open to running clearly marked sponsored competitions and we also accept products for review.
Be aware that all opinions are our own and they will not be influenced in any way by advertisers. Visitors to the Irish gardeners forum arrive here for "down and dirty" impartial information and if we compromise this, then the site will not be true to its aims.
