Hi all!
A quick one just to introduce myself.
I live in Dublin city centre but have an allotment at Rathbeggan in county Meath.
It's my first real garden project - prior to that I used to grow my tomatoes in my apartment and got frustrated because I didn't have more space to grow more things.
I'll be looking for advice from this forum - and, if that is a possible option - there is one thing that I'd like to post for selling (plant caddies). I'm not sure it's allowed to post things for sale here, so I'm refraining from doing so until I'm advised that I can. I figure it may interest more people here than on the site that I posted it for sale where it's not getting an awful lot of interest unfortunately.
Anyway, glad to be part of the forum, I've read interesting things, it's a great site.
Cheers! |

Welcome Estelle.
Well a gardening site is the place to post gardening products for sale rather than another possibly generic or blanket coverage site.
Is this a 2nd hand caddy you wish to sell on or otherwise?
Be aware that self promotion of a commercial venture is only allowed on this forum in one of two ways currently...
(1) Through your signature.
Rules for this...
Use a maximum of one link per signature only.
Only useful links i.e. no under-construction sites, spam services etc.
No signature links to Warez, porn, hate sites, or other questionable content. Absolutely no affiliate links in signature.
Signatures should be very basic and should not have the appearance of an ad.
In the interest of all members please keep your signature politics and religion free.
You can of course place a link to your website or blog in your signature.
If you have a link to your website or blog in your signature, there will be no need to place the same or similar link within a post as well.
Irishgardeners.com reserves the right to ban signatures which are felt to be provocative, disruptive, or outside of our guidelines.
(2) Through booking one of our sponsorship buttons at the top of all irishgardeners.com pages. You can see a sample with Allotment.ie and plantstew above. These will be available to businesses from next week onwards, when we will be unveiling the scheme. Will keep you all posted. _________________ Gardening books.

Thank you for the reply!
Yes, it is three plant caddies that I have and have never used - taking some space here so would like to sell them to someone who needs them.
I have posted the ad on another site, can I maybe just write a new subject with the direct link to my ad on that website ? |

Sorry, is a plant caddie for plants that play golf? I ask because I've never heard of one, but it may be something I know under a different name.
