A great natural feel to the garden Michael. you are going to have some sturdy hedge from that green and copper beech in the next few years, in fact I'd take it now. The pond is really natural looking as well, although I would have a concern with it on my property due to visits from young nieces and nephews. Is it in a closed off area of the garden?

I love that pond, one is on my list but I will have to wait until the kids grow up a bit more.

Bill, bob
the pond is a natural marl hole at the bottom of the garden. The original farmer used the pond and the area behind as a headland and allowed the whole area to grow wild, untill I took it over and re-developed the whole area.
I plan to pupm water into the marl hole and maintain it as a pond for the summer. It usually dries out during the summer.

It all looks fabulous Michael, how lucky you are to have a natural pond, as it were. I can't wait till our garden looks as mature as yours! we're in north Wexford, and starting on a new acre, so no photographs worth showing as yet. Good luck.
