Free Carlow’s Garden Trail passes for ten lucky Irishgardeners members.
Carlow’s Floral Festival Trail is a 9-day event of floral and gardening facts delivered through interactive, themed workshops and guided tours in gardens and garden centres throughout the county. Informative demonstrations are delivered by some of the top names in Irish gardening and environmental circles including Helen Dillon, Dermot O’ Neill, Dick Warner, Eanna Ni Lamhna, Finola Reid etc.
For the gardener, the festival is an extravaganza of flowers and gardens featuring informative lectures and demonstrations by some of the top names in Irish gardening circles. The festival also affords you the opportunity to visit Carlow’s recently established Garden Trail showcasing 16 different gardening attractions, including great old gardens that have been lovingly restored and maintained throughout the years, and smaller gardens which are maturing beautifully with time.
When held in the riverside town of Bagenalstown, the festival also features street entertainment, craft exhibits and waterway activities.
Yes, the South-East’s premier gardening event takes place again this year from Saturday 1st - Sunday 9th August 2009, and in association with Carlow Tourism we have ten passes to give away to you lucky members.
