Hi everyone,

My name is Penny and i have just joined,
I love to garden and grow tomatoes, and peppers, and LOVE perennials too.

what part of canada are you from?
i'd imagine gardening in some parts would present you with some interesting challenges...

Hi there,

I'm in Ontario, about 2 hours away from Toronto, and ya, the weather does present some challenges, like all of our snow at the moment Rolling Eyes

Hi PennyG - I have been to Ontario - spent a summer near East Durham on the south side of the lake in NY state. Have some mennonite friends near Kitchner/Waterloo. Some wonderful farmers markets in your area. We have a large Kitchen garden near dunmore east in waterford - our season is long and slow - have some kale and leeks left in the garden now.

HI Penny,
I'm from Ontario too! While I can say I dont really miss the snow, I definitly miss the warm summers!
