Do you mean an "oscillating hoe" ? This was recommended to me and when I saw it on sale in the Ecoshop in the Glen of the Downs I bought it....and I could use no other now....it's a brilliant design.
However the Ecoshop has now moved to Greystones.
But maybe you mean a different sort of hoe altogether???

Also known as a stirrup hoe as it looks and kinda moves a horse stirrup. Or in the USA known as a hula hoe. In fact these are common enough over there but not here. This is a few on an American site so everyone can see what they look like. http://www.johnnyseeds.com/catalog/subcategory.aspx?category=292&subcategory=634

http://www.ecoshop.ie/

That is the website for the eco-shop......if you decide to go to their new shop in Greystones. Strangely enough, I just checked their website and there's no mention of oscillating hoes, so I would phone them first and ask if they still stock them.
