I filled a number of Pots with Compost from outside last week, and left them in the warm kitchen so that the temperature of the soil increased.

On Sunday, I sowed Radish Seeds, and gave them a bit of water.

Last night I came home from work to see that most of the seeds have germinated, and are popping their heads above the ground Very Happy .

It was a great feeling in this otherwise dark, cold, & miserable time of year!

Ok, perhaps I was a little hasty with this.

My Radish foliage is long & gangley, and is falling over. Is this due to an absense of quality daylight?

I have them in the front of the house, which gets daylight, but not much sunlight. All my other seeds (for other crops) are in the rear of the house, which gets good sunlight, and they're doing well.

Can my Radishes be saved? no tuber has been produced yet.

I sowed peas indoors and they had germinated in 2 days! well one or two of them had.
My Tomatoes have the same problem as your radishes, long and spindly. They have shot up with just the 2 seed leaves but not looking as if they are doing much else.
I had them indoors in a plastic mini greenhouse, thinking they could be too warm I have opened up the zip front to allow more air in.
Maybe GPI or verge could advise the cause and solution, will they come good or what? Confused Confused Confused Confused
