I put up a greenhouse this year and have just noticed that it is leaking. It seems that water is gathering at the bottom of the roof panels at the eaves, on the inside and dripping down. . Is this normal and is there any way of preventing it?

I can take some photos if necessary.

Sounds like condensation to me. As with condensation on house windows the solution would be to vent to allow moisture out. Leave the door ajar occasionally possibly if no vents in the glasshouse.

The water is getting under the pane and gathering at the bottom.

Looks to me like water is getting between the metal frame and the glass then promoting algae growth. Whether it is from a leak or condensation I don't know. I would think though if there was a small spacer put between the glass and metal that it would allow water to run freely away. As it is you have a sort of sandwich effect metal/water/glass, which combined with sun ends up as metal/algae/glass

Snow crushed some around here last month.

Do you ever have a problem with snow there?

Not in recent memory. The worst we got was a hard frost recently.
