Can anyone recommend courses in Leinster (preferably not Dublin) on veg growing or even general gardening. There seem to be some great ones in the West but we live in the south Kildare/Carlow area.

ask your local vec to put on a course, they may be able to provide a teacher also, carlow/kildare is a bit far from east cork but if you get 10-14 people together in a group with allotment nearby something might be possible.

Well there is the Wexford Organic Centre in Wexford obviously or a trip across the mountains to Carraig Dulra in Wicklow, but if they are too far then give them a call as they may know someone a little nearer to you.

You will find quite a few of the Organic crowd give advice or lessons on growing your own veg....organically of course.
