I have dracaena plant just inside my door and it is shedding 'leaves' is that what thy are called? I feed it and water regularly. Is this a bad sign?

Also i saw a conifer plant and buxus pyramid at tesco. Would they need replanting or could tne be left in the poy they are in, or should they pe planted in the earth?

Sorry if I should have made 2 seperate posts

Many thanks
