Hi, I started an allotment last year with one of my daughters. Could not find an irish site at the time for help and advice so started a blog on www.organicgrowingpains.com .Now I find this site which must be a well kept secret! I have put a link on my blog for it so other people like myself can easily find it.

Welcome Organicgrowingpains. Nice crop of veg in your blog. You must be full of veg growing knowledge or did you strike it lucky the first time. Were you taught how to garden by someone or are you self taught? _________________ ______________________________
Hi, my name is Blackbird and I am trying to raise awareness about irishgardeners.com
I need more gardeners to talk to.
So if you like the site or my ramblings please link to it.

| Hi Blackbird,My father loved gardening and grew veg at home.I have been gardening for years just flowers etc. When the chance of an allotment came up we took it. A lot of it was beginner's luck but the garlic died, red onions went to seed and we fought the good fight with potato blight! Different people on an allotment grow different things and advice is always on hand. You also get the chance to taste veg that normally you would not buy, and of course now this site which is brilliant. i have recommended it on the blog and put in a link also. |
