Hello fellow members.
You may be wondering what purpose the shamrocks beneath your user name serve.
These shamrocks are a ranking system within irishgardeners.com.
Everybody starts off with 5 light green coloured shamrocks and the ranking of "Hazel Tree"
When you reach 50 posts, the first shamrock becomes highlighted dark green.
Your member ranking will also change from being a "Hazel Tree" to a larger native Irish tree.
Native Irish trees greater in stature will be revealed as your rankings increase.
Rankings change at......50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 posts.
New native tree rankings and shamrocks will be highlighted at each of these milestones.
In this way the advice from frequent posters will hold great importance as they will have provided and gained much from irishgardeners.com.
Enjoy,
