Have a look at this previous post Billyo...... Where to buy large number of native trees in Ireland?
Also try SAP Nurseries http://www.sapgroup.com/semi-mature-trees.
It is worth noting that a lot of the larger nurseries cater more to the landscape professional, so they will not usually have staff such as in a garden centre to talk you through the pros and cons of the different trees.
Certain nurseries may not even be prepared to deal with members of the public, check before you visit.
Of course you will be able to source semi mature fastigiate trees (oak, hornbeam etc.) through garden centres, but the closer (nursery) you get to the source of the tree the cheaper it will be. _________________ Remember, a weed is just a plant in the wrong place.
