I just love the idea of a lean-to.....we have a perfect spot on our northern boundary OK, but unfortunately only a timber fence there. You've got me thinking now.....I wonder is a block wall and a lean-to a cheaper option than a normal greenhouse???....I also think it sounds stronger in the face of strong winds...would you agree?

i just have put up a lean to greenhouse, got it cheap at 150 euro its 6ft by 11ft and looks high quality anyways i needed some glass Ebay uk the polycarbon glazing enough for a 7ft by 14ft house for 50sterling got it on the last bid Bargain , ok so i have spare glass if anyone is in the need of some
i'll post some pics when i've fully finished it as the glazing is arriving next week
all in it will have costed me app 270 euro
im not including the concrete base i've put down or the treated timber i used to secure it to the base/wall although the lot came to 40 euro |

Hello,
Has anyone experience of buying and erecting a lean to glasshouse large enough to work in but for a hobbyist rather than commercial grower?
