We are presently revamping our garden and two Robins have suddenly appeared and are so tame that they practically sit on our shovels and spades while we are working. One of them is so friendly that he actually came right into our kitchen and sat beside the sink.

Is this normal?

Yes it is one of the benefits of being a gardener. You turn the soil and the birds come to see what has been uncovered. Enjoy. Very Happy
