Frost warning, Thursday 22nd Nov 2007 and Friday 23rd.
Mind those tender plants!!!!
Thursday night will be cold and clear and very frosty over Ireland. A severe frost will follow on into Friday. Fog may linger through the morning as well.
Otherwise Friday will be a bright sunny day. The day will be cold, temperatures remaining in single figures but there will only be light northerly breezes.
Another severe frost to follow for the first part of Friday night. Milder air will gradually return on Saturday as the winds become southwesterly. It will be cloudy but still fairly dry during daytime.
A spell of more persistent rain will then develop towards Saturday evening. This will clear during the early part of the night. Northwesterly winds will once more bring cooler, brighter conditions for Sunday with scattered showers. Another widespread severe frost Sunday night. The start of next week looks mostly dry. _________________ Benefited from irishgardeners.com? Then link to us or tell others.
