Hello from Kerry as well

Hi to you all. I've being browsing the website and am very impressed at the advice and comments and the general warmth of the site. You're all confirming my theory that very special people get involved in gardens and nature.

I'm several levels below novice and expect to embarrass myself with very stupid questions. I've been carving a garden out of pure pencil for the past 3 years. Sadly I am limited by poor fitness levels, 2 knees that are seeral decades older than me, and a demanding job so I'm always looking for short cuts, often to my detriment.

I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better and I know I will learn lots.

Hey, welcome! I'm totally new to this too. Finally settled down and after a year realised we probably should do something with the "garden" other than cultivate grass clippings! Laughing

Welcome. I am also new to gardening and have larned some good advice from other members and the articals. We shall learn as we go and enjoy doing so and make some new friends.
