Lecture on Cape Bulbs.

Evening Lecture 8.00 pm.

Rod, a widely travelled and passionate plants man, will be speaking on the plants of South Africa. He is a professional horticulturist, with a successful mail order business in the sale of seeds and books.

Organised by the Alpine Garden Society


The National Botanic Gardens are located 3 Kilometres North of Dublin city centre,
By Bus: Nos.
4 (St. Vincent's Hospital, Lansdowne Road {Jury's}, O' Connell Street / Ballymun)
13 (Merrion Square, Pearse St, O’Connell St. / Poppintree)
19 (Bulfin road, Leonard's Corner, O’Connell St. / Jamestown Rd., Tolka estate)
83 (Kimmage {Sundrive road, Rathmines} / Harristown {Ballygall Road East})

By Car: From the south, or City centre: leave Dublin via the Drumcondra road (N1) and turn left at Botanic Avenue, just before crossing the river Tolka, ALTERNATIVELY, leave the city via Phibsborough, on the Finglas road (N2), turning right onto Botanic Road just after Hart's Corner, after passing over the Royal Canal. The Botanic Gardens are close to the junction of Botanic Avenue and Botanic Road.
